Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks.
- SC / ST / BC / EBC / PwD candidates get relaxation and are eligible with 50% marks.
- Candidate must have qualified UGC NET / CSIR NET.
- Candidates with a PhD as per UGC 2009 or 2016 regulations are exempt from NET.
- Some candidates with PhD from top-ranked foreign universities may also be exempt as per rules.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years.
- Maximum Age: 43 Years as on 1 August 2026.
- Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.
