Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the official notification (Advt. No. 08/2025) for the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025. This test determines eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and for Ph.D. admissions in universities/colleges of Jharkhand. The online application process will start from 16 September 2025 and remain open until 06 October 2025.

Application Fee
- General / Unreserved: ₹575
- BC-I / BC-II / EWS: ₹300
- SC / ST / PwBD / Third Gender: ₹150
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree with 55% marks (UR / EWS).
- Master’s Degree with 50% marks (BC-I / BC-II / SC / ST / PwBD).
- Final year postgraduates may also apply provisionally.
- Ph.D. holders (completed Master’s before 19 Sept 1991) get 5% relaxation.
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years. No upper age limit specified.

Candidates must keep scanned copies of the following documents ready before applying:
- Passport Size Photograph
- Signature
- Master’s Degree Marksheet/Certificate
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/BC/EWS, if applicable)
- PwBD Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card / Driving License (Any valid ID proof)

- Mode: Offline (Pen & Paper / OMR based).
- Purpose: Eligibility for appointment of Assistant Professors and admission to Ph.D. programmes in Jharkhand.
