Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Paper I (Primary Teacher): 12th with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduation + 2-year Diploma OR B.El.Ed
- Paper II (Upper Primary Teacher): Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed OR Post Graduation + B.Ed OR Equivalent
Age Limit: No upper age limit.

- ID Proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID/PAN/Driving License)
- Educational certificates & mark sheets

How to Apply Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026
- Visit official CTET website: ctet.nic.in
- Click on “Apply for CTET February 2026”
- Complete One Time Registration (OTR) or login
- Fill personal, educational details accurately
- Upload photo, signature, and documents
- Select Paper I/II preference and exam center
- Pay application fee online
- Submit and download confirmation page

Paper I (Primary Stage):
- Child Development & Pedagogy: 30 Qs (30 Marks)
- Language I: 30 Qs (30 Marks)
- Language II: 30 Qs (30 Marks)
- Mathematics: 30 Qs (30 Marks)
- Environmental Studies: 30 Qs (30 Marks)
Total: 150 Qs, 150 Marks, 2.5 Hours
Paper II (Elementary Stage):
- Child Development & Pedagogy: 30 Qs (30 Marks)
- Language I: 30 Qs (30 Marks)
- Language II: 30 Qs (30 Marks)
- Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies: 60 Qs (60 Marks)
Total: 150 Qs, 150 Marks, 2.5 Hours
Marking: No negative marking. Minimum 60% to qualify (relaxation for reserved categories).
