JPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) Recruitment 2025 : Eligibility Criteria

Criteria Details
Educational Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university
Computer Certificate Basic knowledge/certificate in computer operations
Age Limit 21–35 Years (as on 01 August 2025)
  Age Relaxation: OBC – 2 yrs, Female – 3 yrs, SC/ST – 5 yrs
Domicile Jharkhand residents preferred (as per reservation policy)

Pay Scale

Pay Level 8₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100 per month
(plus allowances as per Jharkhand Govt rules)

🔹 1. Preliminary Exam (Objective – Screening only)

🟡 Both papers are objective (MCQs) and conducted separately.


🔹 2. Main Exam (Descriptive – Written, Merit-Scoring)

Each paper is written individually on separate days or time slots. Each paper is of:

✅ Only Papers II to VIII are considered for final merit.
✅ Paper I (Regional Language) is qualifying and mandatory to pass.
