Eligibility – NIC Scientist-B 2026

Essential Qualification (Cut-off: 31 March 2026)
BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Data Science OR equivalent from AICTE/UGC recognized institute + Valid GATE score in CS/EC/DA (2024/2025/2026).

Minimum Marks:

60% aggregate (General/OBC)
55% aggregate (SC/ST/PwD)

Age Limit (Max 30 Years as on 31.03.2026)
Relaxation: SC/ST +5 yrs, OBC +3 yrs, PwD +10 yrs, Women +5 yrs (max 40 yrs).
