Application Fee
- General / OBC (Creamy Layer) / MBC (Creamy Layer) / Other State candidates: ₹750
- Rajasthan OBC (Non‑Creamy Layer) / MBC (Non‑Creamy Layer) / EWS: ₹600

- Stenographer Grade III (Hindi) – around 141 posts
- Stenographer Grade III (English) – around 13 posts
- Stenographer Grade II (Hindi) – around 9 posts

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- 12th (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognised board in Arts / Science / Commerce.
- Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and Rajasthani dialects.
- Mandatory computer qualification, such as any one of:
- RSCIT
- DOEACC “O” Level
- COPA / DPCS
- Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Applications
- Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering
- 12th with Computer Science subject
- Or any equivalent recognised computer qualification.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 40 years (as on 1 January 2027)
- Age relaxation as per Rajasthan rules for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS, women, ex‑servicemen and PwBD candidates.
Salary
- During probation period (2 years): fixed remuneration of about ₹23,700 per month.
- After probation: Pay Level L‑10, approx. ₹33,800 – ₹1,06,700 plus allowances as per Rajasthan High Court rules.
Selection Process
- Stenography Test (Hindi / English) – speed test and transcription.
- Computer Speed & Efficiency Test – typing and practical computer test.
- Interview / personality assessment for shortlisted candidates.
- Final merit list based on marks of skill tests and interview, followed by medical and document verification.
Minimum qualifying marks (as per pattern summaries):
- SC / ST / PwBD: 20 marks out of 50 in certain skill components.
- Other categories: 22.5 marks out of 50 in the same components.
