Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any one of the following:
- Agriculture
- Forestry
- Botany
- Zoology
- Environmental Science
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Geology
- Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
- Engineering (any branch)
Age Limit (as per notification)
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age (approximate, category-wise as given):
- General male: 37 years
- General female / BC / EBC: about 40 years
- SC / ST: about 42 years

Physical Standards
Height
- Male (Gen/BC/EBC/SC): 163 cm
- Male (ST): 152.5 cm
- Female (Gen/BC/EBC/SC): 150 cm

Chest (Male)
- Normal: 79 cm
- Expanded: 84 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male: 25 km walk in 4 hours
- Female: 14 km walk in 4 hours

- Basic pay: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 plus allowances
